Hello everyone

Hi

In December 2004 I was diagnosed with 7 unruptured brain aneurysms,They were found by accident during a routine MRI scan for something else. 3 were quite large and I had these three coiled in two seperate procedures in 2005, The remaining 4 are very tiny, I was advised at the time to have these monitored, They have been monitored by MRA regularly since then and they have remained unchanged and stable and those that were surgically treated have remained totally occluded. I now realise that I am one of the lucky ones to find out before a rupture, although at diagnosis my only emotion was total fear. The help and support from other aneurysm patients helped me through some dark days which is why it is so good forum's such as this forum exist.

Hi Pam,
I am so glad you are posting here and welcome
I also have small aneurysms that are monitered so I can relate to your situation, its not what we of course have planned for our lives but making the best of it and keeping them monitered is what we have to do. Hang in there, my friend,
Ruthie
