Hi Brian are you out of harms way? Please let us know you are alright and away from the bushfires. Other Aussies in Victoria... I hope everyone is safe.

Thankyou for posting.

I've also been wondering about Brian.

I was going to post an OT thread during the horrific heat wave but I didn't and then on Saturday the fires began to take hold and now they're still going.

One of our Victorian members here from other forums lost their dog in the heatwave and then the area where they live was affected by the fires but thankfully they are safe now.

I hope to see a post from you soon, Brian.

Our thoughts are with you all in Victoria in this most tragic and horrible of times.

Koala kindly posted a thread in Social Forum as well.

Thanks Lara.

It's good to hear from you Aussie as I didn't know which state you lived in. It would be nice to hear from Brian soon. We also have some other members in Victoria and across NSW.

The PD Forum has at least one Australian member. There are others in different forums. I do hope they check in soon as I'm so very worried about everyone.

Sending prayers to our Aussie friends at this time. We are thinking of you....

Thanks very much everyone for your concern but i am ok, no problems at all down this way which is a couple hundred miles away from any of those terrible bush fires, there are no words to describe how awfull these fires are and just to think that some of these destroyed townships have been classed as crime scenes as the authorities have reason to believe they have been lit by some very sick people.
I hope other Victorian members are safe.

Brian :)

Good to hear from you matey. Glad you are safe. It chills my bones to even consider that someone could deliberately start a fire like this as a joke.

Hi Koala,

I'm in Sydney. Aside from battling record hot tempatures of almost 48 Celcius in the West, I am ok. I can't believe this heat. It's cooled down the last 2 days with athunderstorm last night. But there are fires in the Central Coast too.

I read about the fires ... oh so sad.

off topic ....

I jabber on a big single's site ..........

Oh man you all sure have your share of cute gals down there (can't get the drool emicon to work).

I know I know - I am getting older but ....... I AM NOT DEAD/BLIND YET lol.
