I haven't had much opportunity to stop by here recently. I've been buey
STS-119 has been pushed out to not earlier than 2/22 for launch. We found a damaged gaseous hydrogen flow control valve on STS-126 when it returned back in November and we're not taking any chances with the ones on Discovery. I don't have a launch time yet. Thanks for the update, Tom.

Thanks Tom!
NPR did a report on the valve the other day. I was listening to it on my way home from work in the wee hours of the morning and I thought of you and figured that was why you had been among the missing lately! It was a pretty detailed explanation of what the valve does and what could happen and I for one am glad that the ship won't fly until it is resolved! |
