OT : Word Association - here's another one!
 

1. Favorite TV show? Good eats or Family Guy/South Park

2. Family? Wife and 1.5 kids, lol. I can say .5 now because we hit the halfway mark this weekend

3. Computer? I have a really amazing computer I spent a lot of money on to play world of warcraft..but I felt like I spent too much time playing games and not enough time with the family so I stopped playing. It just sits there turned off :*( It's an HP Elite

4. Cell phone? I have a blackberry Pearl 8130 I got for a Christmas present this year. It's amazing but I still dont' know how to use the thing :*(

5. Favorite book? Eesh..that's a hard one. I loved a Wizard of Earthsea. I read it while I was in junior high or grade school...I'm sure it's not good now, but at the time I loved it.

6. Favorite song? This is also a rough one. Pretty much anything from the Beatles. A day in the life is great.

7. Favorite season? Definitely Summer! I love my beach!

8. Best memory? My honeymoon. My wife and I went on a cruise and it was amazing. Seeing all these beautiful places with someone I loved more than anythign in the world was awesome.

9. Favorite food? Pizza and tortellini.

10. Tea or coffee? Cold tea, unless it's an iced coffee.

11. Favorite color? Yellow

12. Favorite smell? Greatfruit or is it grapefruit?

13. Ocean or lake? Ocean. I like the salt, the reefs, and the brightly colored fish.

14. Any siblings? A sister I'd rather not talk about :)

15. Kids? 1.5(read #2)

16. Pets? 2 dogs(Sasha the chiahuahua, Eleanor[Eleanor Rigby] the mini-schnauzer) I want to get a frog though!

17. Person you most respect? Hmm, that one I'm going to pass on. I have a lot of respect for just about everyone honestly.

18. If you could meet ANYONE (living or not) - who would it be? Passing on this one too.

19. How do you relax? I sleep..a lot. I also play a lot of video games and I like to build small stuff.

20. Anything, anything good that MG has brought to your life? Not that I can think of. It has brought me a lot of worries about the future. Well, it has given me one more thing to joke about. I try to live life the best way I can, and if you can't laugh about everything then you shouldn't be laughing at all :D

mg in a weird sort of way has helped me......i realize now just how precious life is and am thankful to god for all of my great docs and family members

2. Family? Wonderful husband (Mom and Dad and inlaws overseas but still great)

3. Computer? Laptop - courtesy of tech-crazy husband

4. Cell phone? More like alarm clock - rarely used as a phone

5. Favorite book? Any - maybe happy Potter series?

6. Favorite song? I Will by The Beatles (husband proposed with it)

7. Favorite season? Hmmm tricky - autumn for the leaves, winter for the snow

8. Best memory? Wedding day - although I was in a morphine induced haze thanks to my gallbladder (I almost didn't mnake my wedding and had to have emergency surgery the day before. My hairdresser did my hair in the hospital).

9. Favorite food? Kraft Dinner (only because you can't get it in Scotland and I miss it - Mom ships it over regularly)

10. Tea or coffee? Tea - milk and sweetener

11. Favorite color? Brown (my pupils always make fun of that)

12. Favorite smell? Sheets that have dried outside

13. Ocean or lake? Any source of water! So relaxing

14. Any siblings? One big brother

15. Kids? Someday hopefully!

16. Pets? had an African Albino Claw-footed frog but he died :( Husband has a tarantula in Canada (his Mommy is taking care of him right now)

17. Person you most respect? Can find the good in everyone

18. If you could meet ANYONE (living or not) - who would it be? My great grandfather

19. How do you relax? Book and tea, or (preferably) a massage

20. Anything, anything good that MG has brought to your life? awareness

16. Pets? Lucy my mad cat oh and 3 wild cats i feed

17. Person you most respect? my ex boss Dennis who i loved and always went to for advice and who i miss

19. How do you relax? walking when its nice or mostly watching tv
20. Anything good that MG has brought in to your live ? having to know my bodys limitations and that its still great to be ALIVE.

How are you feeling today? Is it still snowing there? How ae your children? Your signifigant other? Are the meds helping?

I had a great night last night! Karaoke was soooooo much fun! Mike and I sang for hours! He loves it! We had a blast! Today we had a bday party, and tomorrow is church, so it will be a lovely, fun filled weekend!

I also plan on working next week - just can't stay away! Miss the people waaaay too much!

I love NCIS too! Great show!

Sometimes we get people searching the internet for just one illness (like MG) so it helps if 'Off Topic' or OT, is added to threads that talk about things other than the condition in the forum, and in this case...MG. It helps others search, and hopefully find us here at NT. :)
