Post Concussion Syndrome 21/2 Years!
Hey I'm Jeremy and I just recently came across this site. It's great to see I'm not alone with this deal! Well, not that I want anyone to suffer from this by any means. I hit my head in an accident back in Aug 06' and I'm still dealing with this. I'm beginning to think this probably isn't going away. I've been to the National Dizziness and Balance Center, The U of M Neurology Center, and also the neurology center that treats the MN Wild Hockey players with issues. Still here I am and I have to say after reading a few posts, you guys know more about treatment than the doctors I've seen. I do know a few of the do's and dont's that make me feel a little better...Lots of sleep, no long road trips, (if I have to drive) no big crowds, etc...But I haven't really done anything to help myself get better and I'm hoping to find some answers here. Whether it's a miracle drug, chiropractic, meds etc..
My issues aren't as bad as they were even a year ago. But I still deal with the physical balance and dizziness issues, as well as some "foggy" thinking!! My biggest problem is that I can't seem to get outside of my head and move on. It's just soo hard when it NEVER stops. I just want to be my old, outgoing self again. Any feedback would be great! Thanks for listening. Jeremy |

Hey all!
Thanks for the warm welcome. If there's anything I can do feel free to ask!
I don't know who it was that on here that referenced magnesium and calcium, but let me just say WOW! I've been taking it three times a day since Friday and I feel great. I can't say that I'm 100% but this is the most "good" days I've strung together since the beginning, and I just continue to feel better. I just wanted to put that out there for anyone wlse in my shoes. It still amazes me that with all the things doctors can do these days they still can't cure post concussion or TBS. If I knew the cure I would be running around the world right now fixing people up! This has got to be the most underrated complication out there. All the best, Jeremy |

Yay
good to hear your are feeling a lil bit better..Jeremy! Every lil bit helps. Before the collision I wasn't one to surf the web...I was way to physically active, skating/biking/dancing...but I am thankful for sites like this one, the members...I actually have learned more about what happened to me, what is wrong with me, from the web than from anywhere else.
