Extra Lumbar Vertebrae & Straight Cervical Vertebrae

Last Saturday, at age 33, I went to a chiropractor for the first time and was told / shown that I have an extra lumbar vertebrae - which may explain why I have always need to adjust my clothing to fit a 'sway back'.
I was also shown that I have an extremely straight set of cervical vertebrae; I have always had neck pain, limited mobility, migraines and TMJ, but had no idea my cervical vertebrae were as straight as a ruler.
The Dr. made a few adjustments, hours later my lower back felt warm and stiff on one side. My neck kept making popping noises, one side was very tight, and I felt like my head would fall off at any moment...

Yesterday I went for my second adjustment; I explained how I had felt after the prior adjustment, and was told those sensations were "normal". Upon leaving I immediately reacted with a migraine - to the extreme of seeing spots / light flashes - and the pain was intense. A few hours later I felt like someone had shoved a hot poker in one of my eyes after hitting me with a baseball bat. My neck was also in pain but it paled in comparison to the migraine.

I still have a migraine, and ringing in my ears today after 800mg of Motrin.
If this is how spine adjustments make you feel, I do not want to ever go back!!!

Is this "normal"?
