Failed fusion 18 months

I'm scheduled next week for a 360. I've been in constant pain for 18 months and never fused. I'm hearing so many negative things. Anyone have anything positive to say about these. My original surgeon pretty much wouldn't admit to anything wrong. Went to a new ortho that ordered an mri and new I was a non fusion. Family Dr. agrees with this technique also. People are telling me to get more opinions. I've had every conservative treatment. So, what would be left?? Scared in Indiana.

:)

sorry you're not having any luck with surgery. I have read some success stories here also. Not the majority, though. For those surgeries that are successful, that's a beautiful story. however, for the ones that didn't get sucess it's not a happy ending. :(

I would want to understand why I didn't have a fusion before I went any further.

you should ask if there's any restrictions of activites so as to not cause any more problems because you don't have fusion.

Someone here should know more than I.

I had to have the 360 because of previous surgeries and the scar tissue made it more difficult for my surgeon to gain clear access to the disk just from the back. The worst part of the whole thing was having both incisions. They went through my old c-section scar and that was the scar that hurt the most. However, I was pleased that he was able do the fusion and it fused very quickly. I don't think any fusion is easy. I hope your surgery goes well and you are able to get out of pain.
