Burning up

I am on fire. No, my writing is not going well, my jump shots aren't going in; it seems my arms, legs and back have once again been alighted with lighter fluid...

For the last week I've had a terrible virus, a gruesome chest thing. Almost exactly this time last year the same thing happened to me, I had a bad flu, and then my body went up in flames fully for the first time, after my nerve issues had started post surgury and were still localized.

What is the virus connection here? Just a flare from the stress? There's got to be a connection autoimmune-wise...

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I am sorry you are sick on top of everything else. I know for myself when I had a flu bug my other symptoms all flared up too. I am not sure if it was a fluke or a connection. I do feel when you have the flu your body aches in general so it just intensifies the PN conditions.

Alka Seltzer...

If you are allowed to have aspirin (no drug contraindications like blood thinners etc)

Try original formula (with aspirin) AlkaSeltzer. I find it removes severe burning attacks for me.

The combination of bicarb with the aspirin blocks the histamine receptors for a while. The burning does return when it wears off, but it can work for a a whole day for me from one dose.

I discovered this when I was on Glucophage, and used the AlkaSeltzer for blocking the diarrhea that this drug causes, and discovered it blocked the burning feet too.
