Is this a Symptom or am I Crazy?
 

I know this sounds totally bizarre, but maybe not to other MS patients! The only ON symptom I've ever had is nystagmus--I've had that for at least ten years, and I didn't even know it was an MS thing until a few months ago. When it started, I thought it was a lasting side effect from my partying days. It never lasts long though, and it's never impaired my ability to see or function.

But this new one is weird, it started Saturday, and I'm not really sure how to describe it. There's a very cold, wet feeling in a tiny area in my left eye. I know it's odd to say that my eye feels wet, but it does. Not like teariness, just wet and cold, like I have an ice cube on my eyeball. Is this something, or nothing? It started very quickly on Saturday while I was reading. It isn't constant, it only lasts for a minute then goes away. Does anybody know what the heck this is? It seems so minor that I even hesitate to ask, but it's SO WEIRD.

I would quiz your Doc on it, too.

I had a sensation on my leg about year or two ago that felt like the back of my calf was wet...so I believe you on the wet eye sensations, and even tho I'm not a doctor, I would assume that it is a weird MS thingie.

That might be a TN symptom.

I get something similar in the corner of my eye, side of the nostril, and corner of my mouth, on my right side (exactly where the three branches of the TN cranial nerve go). It feels cold, or wet, or tingly, or numb, or a combination.

Thank you all! I never considered TN.

I've also had the wet feeling on my legs, Erin. It always ends up with me being very alarmed that I did something unseemly! That has definitely been one of the weirder MS symptoms I've had. It has happened on my fingers and feet too.

I will definitely call my MS doctor about this, just in case it's a sign of things to come. My MS symptoms are mostly sensory, and it never fails to amaze me how many strange feelings I get!

I hate MS, but if I had to get a disease, I'm glad I got an interesting one.
