Inspiration?

The problem I have had with researching (PCS) is that I read something that makes me feel better and then I read something very discouraging. I have been reading quit a few comments in in this forum of people having complications for 2.5 year to 5years.

Is that the people who get better quickly move on and leave this forum and so you don't hear as many positive testimonials? Or is it more common to have issues for a very long time and have them never subside?

hi mach good point

and you are right lots of people probably never seek out a forum like this I have had concussions in the past that have resolved in a couple of weeks

I was thinking of starting a thread to clarify a few points as I see them

this is a shared forum TBI /PCS TBI can range from some poor soul in a persistent vegetative state to severe/ moderate/ mild/ brain injury/ all may develop PCS some may not , it could last a day a week a month a year what ever or be permanent its as complex as the brain its self
on another forum that deals with CSF leaks we have just put a sticky in place for healed and recovered people to share the stories I will ask the mods if they could set it up for us

good post welcome

Mach: See my latest on "Posts on hope and healing." Yes, people do recover. During the process it helps to know that despite what the medical specialists may say, what you are going through is real. This forum is a validation of that.
