ct scan spot
I picked up my actual CT scan recently. The Dr. got the radiologists opinion that it was fine. Looking on the internet I saw photos of before & after brain surgeries. There it is & then it's gone. My scan shows a black spot about the size of 3/4th of a dime where my AVM was. So am I correct in assuming that spot is where the "small" bleed was in early 90's? I also was told that the second surgeon only went so far because of the location. I can't wait to get ahold of the actual records of the second surgery.
So if anyone looks @ their own Ct scans & have some knowledge I would appreciate it. Thanks! |
Hi flopper,
I haven't seen my CT scans but I have seen my MRI's before and after surgery and I can see the area where they removed scar tissue on the RTL along with more scars that were never there before until I had a veeg where they did surgery and planted 4 electrodes on the RTL and 3 on the LTL. It may be possible that what you are seeing is scars from where surgery was done. Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You! Sue |
Thanks Sue!
That would make sense since the second surgeon had to remove the mess the first one left behind. |
