Mrsd - 2 questions

I was at the homeopathic store today looking for an iron substitute for my repliva.

One of the homeopharmacists was talking to a differnet customer about Omega - 7 and how it helped mucous membranes. Have you heard of this supplement? I am going to google now.

Second what was the combo inosoitl and Choline for again. I had it on my list and for the life of me I cannot remember why

Thanks!
Shelley

I really have not read much about this. I'll have to look into it more deeply. The fact that this is on such a reduced sale price leads me to believe it is not selling for some reason...
like it doesn't work?

Inositol and taurine (not sold in combo) are recommended for people with diabetes or insulin resistance. Dr. Jensen-Kittley has that in her book--Obesity's Answer.

Regular inositol is called myo-inositol and it needs to be converted to d-chiro inositol which seems to fail in PCOS patients and those with diabetes or insulin resistance.
This is why I am taking the d-chiro form now.

The doses in a typical inositol/choline mix are not high enough for most people to see benefits.

I buy inositol pharmaceutical grade powder for my husband, and he mixes it in OJ each morning. High doses of myo-inositol make me emotional...so I can't use high dose (2 gm a day) like he does. My son also uses it for anxiety, but not every day either. I buy it at iherb and save TONS of $$ ...this tends to be very expensive in local stores.

I am reaching the 2 month mark with the d-chiro..my facial hair is gone, skin less oily and I feel like I am twenty years younger (muscles stronger). It took about a month at 1200mg a day so far. It is very expensive and only available on the net.
(Chiral Balance)
I'll know more when I get my tests.
