Thank you friends! :grouphug:

I just woke up (8:15 am) and you are the first to wish me a happy birthday. :)

And now I am going back to bed....

Good news: I slept for 7 hours. :)

Bad news: Pain meds, and decongestant wore off and I feel miserable. :(

I should have: slept with my head more propped up, but it wasn't comfortable for my neck.

So now: my left ear (with the ruptured ear drum) and the left side of my face, jaw and neck are all in pain.

Today's Weather: A few inches of surprise snowfall.

I think going back to bed sounds pretty good, for now.

Thanks again!

Oh Scrabbly...I hope you were able to go back to bed and will feel some relief when you get up. Did your daughter make you a cake or are you too ill to eat?

What? You're sick? A ruptured eardrum on your birthday? That's just no good at all! :(

Happy Birthday -- maybe you'll have celebrate in a few days when you're feeling better.:hug::hug:
