Crazy legs back with a vengance. Is it the flu?

So we have been battling the flu all week. DD is much better back to her usual hapyy go lucky bouncing off the walls self. The man is feeling fine, aside from being aggravated about the blown tire yesterday (at least it happened before we left for Ky.

I on the other hand am battling the flu and a sever case of dragon butt. I can't seem to drag my butt out of bed or concentrate long enough to get any work done. Which is actually ok, seeing as I only have 2 items left on auction and the rest of the stores have been put on hold for our vacation.

But the crazy legs are back. they just don't want to work. My right leg keeps trying to buckle every time I try to use it. Which of course resulted in my lovely slide down the stairs this morning.

I assume the flu is causing this? I know infections of any kind will cause your MS to act up. I need to run a bunch of errands today and get my laundry done and get packed so we can go to KY tomorrow or sunday... still waiting to see. But I can't seem to find the energy required to take a shower and put on clothes. here it is afternoon and I am still in my pjs and about to head back to bed.

I do think the flu/virus can cause pseudo symptoms.:( Im dealing with what
I think is a sinus infection or virus that is hanging on and have also been
dealing with mega fatigue. yesterday when i was waiting with parents for
the kids my knee just gave out:(backwards if that make sense. it happened
twice. Today, I still went back to bed for a nap at 10 am. Im hoping
when this crud is gone I will feel better.

feel better legz and I hope you have a wonderful trip!!!!

Yes it's usually the fever that causes the weakness in your leggz;) Take a couple of asprin to reduce the fever and inflamation....works for me..

Well i just got the call. Good news for me bad news for the man. The army didn't approve his leave like they said they were going to and now we aren't leaving until Tuesday! He is super mega PO'd!

I am grateful thought I could use a couple more days to recoup before heading to the inlaws. The bad part is it will be cutting his vacation short, I think, unless they extend it due to their screw up. Which if they do means I have to reschedule DD's visitation with her dad because I am not coming back early so he can visit.

But on the plus side I get to go back to bed now!

I know exactly what you mean with the knee thing sox. I messed up my right knee back in high school and the kneecap likes to slide around to the side sometimes when i am walking. it's kind of like a dislocated shoulder, I have to pop it back in. Fortunately I haven't had any problems with it for about a year now.

Hey Legz! When I've got a bug of sorts, my sx's seem much more apparent. Hope you feel much better for your trip on Tues.

Feel better, Legz! I'm glad you'll be able to get some extra rest. Lots of times that seems to be what helps me most.
