Update
Great news. I finally saw a Pain Management doctor today. WHOO! I actually like this doctor. He didn't look at me or treat me like I'm faking it or its all in my head because I'm a WC case. He says I don't have full blown RSD. I have all the stuff that happens just before RSD sets in. I forget exactly what it is but its something to do with sympathetic nerves being all screwed up. For the next 6 weeks I have to get a nerve block and an hour later go thru intense PT. He is a little werry though because its been almost a year since my injury, so he isn't fully sure its going to work. But because I've been doing everything I'm supposed to be doing at home, he still has hope that it will work. I am so hoping that this works. Oh he also prescribed me Lyrica to help calm my nerves. I'm just so happy that finally I have a doctor that listened to me. He also looked really confused from the doctor who referred me to a PM (the hand specialist). The hand specialist put that there is no sign of deformities. The PM kept looking at the hand specialists notes and looking at my wrist. You could see that he was confused by that because there is clear deterioration and slight deformity. Anyway, I don't know if it was the trip or the new meds but I need a nap I'm wiped.
