I had what I believe to have been hemifacial spasm on my right side (doctors were pretty out to lunch trying to give an answer to that one at the time). I too am bi-laterally affected by TN, but my most severe TN pain occurs on the left side. I also get the burning crud and I find Clonazepam is my wonder drug to cool that down.
Lots of marriages in the family! Sorry to hear you haven't been doing well. Hope the change in medications helps you.

my left side is also my worse side, i just feel like a guniea pig at the moment trying all these meds to try and get some relief it seems as though meds work for a little while i still get bad days but the meds seem to stop working as well after a while if that makes sense?
