RSD after surgery
Hello everyone, I had knee surgery for arthritis, and was diagnosed with RSD from three different doctors...is there anyone out there with similar circumstances??? Thanks, Pepper : :(

Hi, Pepper! Nice to meet you! I haven't had that kind of experience myself, but I did have a friend who went through almost the exact same thing. For him the RSD kept getting worse for a while, and he was pretty much told that he would have to learn to live with it. But after some time had passed, the symptoms which they had called RSD actually began to fade, and eventually quit altogether. I hope that's the case with you. I'm not real familiar with RSD, but some of my symptoms mock it very closely. I know it's not fun. I hope everything turns out good for you. Check out our RSD forum. I'm sure that they can tell you more. Good luck and best wishes, Pepper.

RSD after Surgery
I have RSD and I began to hurt after an ankle sprain. Then when I had surgery, within a month I had full blown RSD. My ankle upper leg and foot are all involved. I have had it for ten years. I had problems getting treatment because of my insurance, so be aggressive from the beginning of your diagnosis and your can beat it. Good Luck!:D

Hi, and Welcome to NT
RSD is really bad to endure. I'm sorry that you're suffering with that. Take your time and look around. I'm sure you can find a lot of info to help. It can be overwhelming, though. |
