Update on Nikko
Hi
Many of you remember Nikko was due to have 2 rounds of surgery, notably lower back surgery beginning last month. She had been in severe pain due to damage in that area. Unfortunately she had to cancel the surgery due to insurance coverage issues ... always gitcha where it hurts don't they :(:(... and in her case, it *really* hurts! She has pain killers that help some but she really does need the surgery. She is looking into resolving the insurance/financial aspect and is still in pain. Has not been up to posting. Other than that all was going "ok" ... as ok as can be considering the above. She does have a strong spirit if i ever saw one. Pets were doing fine and she had kept up the not smoking. I asked her a while ago if i could let you guys know but, me being me... it took a while of getting around to. Well, this is it, right here, better late than never. I haven't really exchanged "substance" news with her in a few weeks, am behind with email as always. So, i hope what i have said still holds... that all is still well... and perhaps she has found a solution to be able to have surgery (but i suspect if she had, she would have emailed about that :o sigh). Please, those who pray, pray for her, and those who don't, as such, please send positive thoughts and good vibes in her direction. ~ waves ~ :grouphug:for Nikko:grouphug: |
