Another frivolous question:
When someone suggests going out for "brunch", what time comes immediately to your mind? I think of (hello) between breakfast and lunch--hence the term "brunch".
I suppose it depends what time you normally eat breakfast and lunch, but let's get a consensus here. What time is brunch? |
11:00am in my world.

11-12 works for me....

So, are we invited?

My inner clock defaults to 11:00 a.m., but anytime anyone says "eat" I'm THERE!!! :D
|
11:01 a.m.

I guess I'm going to be the odd ball here. Maybe it is because I used to be a waitress at a country club that did brunch every Sunday. To me, brunch is anywhere between 11AM and 4PM. That way, it encompasses all of the breakfast hours and lunch hours and is anytime up to when the dinner menu would start at 4PM.

I'm with Twink.....anytime somebody else is cooking is breakfast/brunch/lunch/supper time for me!! :D
But really, I think of brunch as around 11:00 AM. Between breakfast and lunch. What would the meal between lunch and supper be? Lupper? Sunch? |
All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:48 AM. |
