Up all Night

and getting ready to go to bed in the next few minutes. I wish I didn't have such a terrible time with going to bed at a decent hour. I've been washing clothes and packing to move.

This Holiday season I am missing my mom and having a lot of anxiety over it.

I do that a lot lately -- stay up all night -- to get things done. Seems easier at night for some reason.

I know what you mean about your Mom. It's been 40 years since my Brother committed suicide (October) and 27 years since my Dad died (November) and 24 years since my Mom passed (January). October through January has a lot of "anniversaries" for me -- not my 'best' time of year :(

Like Waves and Nikko and Bizi said -- take it easy on yourself. Do a little bit at a time 'til it gets done.

Next year at this time, you'll be all moved and you'll have a WHOLE YEAR'S worth of pleasant memories to help offset some of the pain from missing your Mom.

BIG HUGS.

Barb

I feel your pain BF and I feel your hurt. This is a hard time of year for many here it seems. But like Barb said maybe this move is the beginning of new life and new memories. Sending hugs your way {{{BF}}}.

Barb I'm so so sorry about your losses too but I admire you for your wit and your humor. A lesson I have to learn.

Thank you everyone. I am going to try to be positive and look forward to my move at the end of the month with or without my husband's payments. I'm not sure but it may take awhile to make him hold up to his side of the bargain legally but I may be eligible for food stamps and Medicaid to help me until then.

I meant to post what I just said in my latest thread. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm so sorry that your are having to deal with all this, especially this time of year. I just want you to know that I'm thinking about you and hope that the new year will bring smooth sailing and better times ahead.

Hugs to you

Hamster
