RSD in the eyes

My rsd started in the inner ankle/foot/calf of left and spread to both legs. In addition now we think it is in my eyes and ear. I have been to the eye doctor 30 plus times with 8 eye specialists for dry eye, extreme floaters, blepheritis. I have tried everything eye med wise, they have drained/plugged,oral antibiotics etc. I also have developed severe ear pain with no ear infection cause I went to a specialist. I have been to rheumatolgist, allergist(I only have dust mite allergies, dermatolgist(seborrehic dermitis),general doctors. With my leg condition from my peripheral neuropathy and rsd neuros but may go back cause have not been since the eye/ear. With the eyes my dry eye and bleph they feel should not be causing the crying pain that I am in and same with the ear.It is hard to see and the pain on days is so bad. I have a PM apt next week who specailizes in rsd that I saw before but I was at that time to fearful to try the treatment but now am ready but this was for the legs only before I saw him so now I wanted to ask about the eyes. I have read a few people having this in there eyes but wonder if anyone here. Also if you had any blocks, meds, treatments that helped with this. Thank you

I'm so sorry to hear about the extra pain that you are experiencing right now, Daniella and hope you find something to help you real soon!!

I don't have RSD in my eyes but some of my other friends with RSD have it in the eye area. I believe some of the people on here with full body RSD have it in their eyes so maybe they will be able to help you.

My vision sometimes goes extremely blurry and it can take a few hours for it to go away. I was prescribed Amitrityline to try and help me sleep in September 2007 and had a severe side effect of blurred vision to it and although my eyes are better than they were, I still get blurred vision ocassionaly and it is really annoying and frustrating. I spoke to my Doctor about it and he said my pupils were really dialiated but didn't have any ideas as to what was causing it and said I had to try and "deal" with it if I could!

Have you been prescribed any more medications lately? If so, it might be worthwhile looking into them as I know some of my meds caused my vision to go really blurry.

I wish I could help you more but don't have any answers for you unfortunately. Just know I care about you and if you need anything, I am here for you! Please let us know what you find out when you can!

Thanks. Actually I am not on meds riught now though need to be that is for sure. My eyes are not blurry though like I read for most with rsd. I have severe crying pain,raw/burning/scratchy,floaters but like I said they have been checked 30 times by 8 eye specialists. They are so dry and the bleph but it should not cause this pain they said. Sometimes they make it like a migraine in the eyes and or head.
Thank you Ali for your thoughts and know I am here for you too. You are amazing sign of strength to me when I read your posts. How is everything with you
