Neuro appt tomorrow AM

Well, here we go again with another appt. I have been on rebif now for a year and definitely need an AD. I feel right now like I could be just a lump on the couch for the rest of my life and that would be fine. See what I mean about needing the help of an AD?

Atleast this time I noticed the changes in me sooner than when I was on Betaseron. Had no idea what my problem was then.

It's spring so my bi-annual flare is kicking up. Might have to do steroids again. We'll see. On the bright side my spring cleaning could actually get done if I have them.

I'll check in after to let everyone know how it goes.

It would be great if they could pop a bright outlook on life and some energy into one pill.:winky:

Hi kellijo,
Good luck at your Neurologist's appointment tomorrow. It is good that you recognized the feelings you get, and know what medication you need. I hope when you start your medication that the sun shines bright on you and the dark clouds disappear.:)

It's always good to see your Dr when you notice things aren't feeling ''right''. Hope your appt goes well, Kellijo and do let us know how your'e doing.

Take care.

Good luck at your appointment. Jim's on Zoloft, thanks to Beta, to ward off the evil depression. It popped up so fast we didn't know what was wrong either.

You meant Zoloft, right? Zocor's for high cholesterol.

I'm back. We are going to do one day of steroids per month for 4 months then I will follow up with him at that time. If it is working we will continue. At my appt this morning he did say that he thinks it's safe to say that I have moved to spms.

He is also starting me on elavil we are hoping for two things here. Help with the depression and help with pain. If it doesn't work after a month he will switch me to something else. This is just a start.

I do my first iv roids next wednesday morning.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions.
