acdf c5/6 continued pain

Hi everyone,

Im new to the site I happened to stumble across it while looking for answers on the pains im having 12 months after my first surgery. I had all the typical symptoms of a herniated disc.. radiating pain, loss of strength, numbness.. etc. My wife and I elected to have the surgery after trying therapy to reduce the symptoms failed. Recently I started losing pulse in my left arm. It feels like I have a tourniquet on my shoulder and I lose all sensation. They are saying that it is a condition called Thoracic Outlet Syndrom. I guess my question is.. Has anyone else ever had this complication or condition, and is there anything that you have done that could help reduce the pain? PT is not working and Im looking for help.

Thank you,
Sirrah

Welcome to our community.

So sorry you may have TOS. TOS is truly a hard train to ride. It can get rough. I've dealt with TOS and lots of other problems since 2000. Other problems doing pretty good. TOS still a bugger.

You'll find lots of info here about TOS, but it'll take you some time to read through past posts. I've retrieved some for you to start with. There's many pages within each link.
