Please HELP!!!

Hi guys,
I'm kind of new to this site and it would mean so much to me if someone could give me some good advice. Back in my old days i used to be a sports freak. I used to play all day every day. I used to be able to sleep 4 or 5 hours and still have a good day the next day. THen my life changed forever. A couple of years ago i was playing football when i was accidentally kicked in the back of my head (don't ask how that happened haha). I saw green everywhere and had memory loss of where i was, how i got there, and even what i did the day before. Ever since my accident i've noticed a couple of things about myself:
1. I'm depressed. I just don't find anythign in life enjoyable anymore. I hate waking up in the morning
2. If i don't sleep at least 7 hours the headache i have the next day is unbearable
3. I always feel lightheaded
4. I became much less coordinated (i'll sometimes trip over myself or unintentionally walk into a wall)
5. If i lay down for as little as 5 minutes, i get so dizzy when i get up
6. I have anxiety problems
and im sure there's more i'm not thinking of right now. Someone please help me

Sounds like PCS

You sound like you are suffering Post Concussion Syndrome symptoms. Based on your immediate symptoms of amnesia, etc. these symptoms are not unusual.

Have you ever been seen by a doctor for these symptoms?

I would suggest a visit to a doctor who understands post concussion. A Physiatrist and Rehab specialist MD would be a good start. I think they are better than most neuros for a head injury like yours.

Write down all of your symptoms with details about when you have them.

You could also look up the local brain injury association for a possible referral.

Either way, you would benefit from doing some research into the resources available to you locally. Some sports medicine doctors have MTBI referrals for you.

You are just starting the search. Be patient, it is sometimes difficult to find the right physician to help with MTBI.
