Saving pics with firefox...
Hello,
I posted this question somewhere else but got no replies, so, could I ask you who use Firefox how do you save a pic ?? I mean, I cant simply right click over it so I can see "save image as" can I ?? Im in a mac, so, I have ended taking screen shots of pics I like because I dont know how to save them in my drive !!!!  Thanks in advance. |
It should work just as you mentioned.
"right click over it so I can see "save image as" But I don't know if a Mac would need it done differently... have you tried to do it -try it on my siggy pic:) |
Sound s like it is a common problem - I did a little searching and found these suggestions. For Macs.
[Firefox -> Preferences -> Main Tab Change the location where you save the files to another location. See if that works. If it doesn't change the other settings in regards to the downloading section.] another suggestion is to make your browser window/or tab, a bit smaller, then just drag and drop the picture into a folder or onto the desktop. and here is the "save Image" Mac addons for FF - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...eeklydownloads one of those might be a fix for you. |
Thank you for all that stuff Jo*mar !!!
I cant simply right click like in another browsers  I tried dragging the pics to a folder but they were saved like .bin files that then, I cant open....  Finally, I downloaded the application, but I dont know how to use it... :p  So ! still trying to find out ! Thanks !!!! |

UPDATE:
Seems that the problem is .jpg pics... I can drag .gif ones, but, .jpg are saved like .bin and then, I cant open the file BUT it i manually change the extension to .jpg, then, I can finally open my pic !!!! Wow, how weird is that !? |
