Anyone take SERC?

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if any of you take or have taken SERC (Betahistine Dihydrochloride) for vertigo?

If so I wondered if it's helped and if anyone had concerns with side effects etc.?

Info. sheet. Serc (Betahistine Dihydrochloride)

p.s. might be called something else. I'm in Australia. Some of our meds have different names.
I just did a search in this whole forum and couldn't find it mentioned.

hi its just me but I don.t take any meds apart from pain killers occasionally if they help thats fine, but if something like the vestibular system or the nurons that process information from it are damaged the only way, I can see meds helping is to dull the signals and I can,t see that helping in the long term, under the premise of nuro plasticity there can be no healing just alleviation of symptoms . but I don.t know how it works solely on the inner ear ?????
