If you burp out loud and you're all by yourself, do you say "excuse me" anyway?

Well, I have a Dog, so, of course I say "excuuuuuuuse me"..:D He, however, being male, burps and farts away with no opologies..:o

I can hear everyones eyes rolling in their heads!! Yes, I have burped out loud when alone but usually don't say anything unless it's to one of the cats....and they don't care one way or the other. They're butt-sniffers so I don't think they can be offended. :p

Now...if I were to do it in front of one of my boys that would be something they'd never let me forget or live down!! :o

Heck no. I might say "oh that was a good one", though.

I didn't know I was supposed to say "excuse me." Now, when my wife elbows me in the stomach after a particularly satisfying belch, I'll say sorry, but I don't mean it. When I'm alone? I might mutter an aaahhh...

But I still can't decide if I should cover my mouth when I'm alone and sneeze. :confused:

when you are home alone do you close the door to poop?

My husband thinks I am silly that even when home alone, I need privacy. I dont excuse myself after burping home alone, but do say "excuse me" after sneezing home alone. hmmm...social things that are ingrained

After I sneeze I always say, "Bless me!" just as loud as I sneezed! :cool:

So are you trying to say that it is wrong for my wife and I to have "battles"?

YES!! Are you kidding me? up until recently I couldn't even pee if someone was on the other side of the bathroom door talking to me....now I have a 4 yr old, and a dog. It is apparently against the law of little people and four legged creatures to allow me to be int he bathroom alone for more than 45 seconds. And no it doesn't matter that i have my own bathroom now.

And yes, I excuse myself when I burp even home alone. I show manners to myself, or else my self gets offended and then retaliates by growing a new lesion and blocking off some other sensory part of my body. I'm scared to offend myself now a days.
