My 18 year old daughyter developed CRPS following ankle surgery in 2005. I have been active on our australian forum for a few years but was recently told about this forum. I am always looking out for new info ideas. Elise is doing very well since attending Royal Childrens Hospital in Melbourne. She manages her pain well and is living an active relatively normal existence but I always worry about her future. Knocks and bumps still set her back and sleep can still be an issue for her. But overall she is doing very well. I have just got a TV show (Catalyst) on ABC here in Oz interested in presenting a docmentary about CRPS. They are researching now and film soon. I'm so sorry to hear that your daughter suffers from RSD but am SOO glad to hear that she is doing really well at the moment - that is great!!!!:hug:

I also suffer from RSD. I have it in both arms and my left leg - I developed it when I was 12 years old after I fell and sprained my ankle and am now 14. I can certainly understand why you are scared for your daughter - I too am always scared about my future and cant imagine how hard it must be for you parents!!:hug:

If you or your daughter ever need anything, please know that I am here for you because I DO understand how scary it can be dealing with RSD - especially at such a young age!
