mrs d
have you ever seen a case where p5p worked for seizures when pyridoxine didnt? i see it in literature, wanted to know your take?thanks as usual
|
No, I haven't. Pyridoxine dependency is quite rare.
P5P has not been around for very long. Maybe about a decade or so as a supplement. The information regarding pyridoxal kinase is also pretty new. This paper goes back to 1982... for example: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6...ubmed_RVDocSum There are many doctors who don't even know what P5P is! Or that it is available as a supplement! If they have been visited by the makers of Metanx they may be up to date. |
