D3 with K2 - dots
I just ordered some Twin Lab D3/K2. It was the only d3 I could find from a manufacturer I trusted. K2 is kind of a recently hyped thing it appears from my reading, and I'm wondering if anyone has any further information, good or bad, about it.
I'm getting really cautious in my old age :D about anything and everything I take or do, because I am experiencing a rather severe exacerbation of MG and what appears to be CIDP, tho' that's not been fully officially dx'd. The blood work taken prior to my 1/09 aneurysm coil did indicate I was a little low on D and potassium, so I wanted to get some of those - just want to be sure the formula's are ok. Would appreciate any info anyone may have on the best form/formulas of each. My B-12 tests are pending, but with the PN I am planning to get some of the methyl???? - I never can remember that word! |
The K is something I am very conservative about.
If I recall correctly --you are on blood thinners? For a reason? K increases clotting. I think it is best to get K from veggies. NOW brand of D3 is very reasonable in price: NOW is a wonderful company, with high quality. This is the one I use: http://www.iherb.com/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=8229&at=0 I prefer the liquigel type, as I think they are better absorbed compared to the dry powder type. |
