c3 hematoma lifelong disability

Has anyone out there experienced this? It has been a long road for me. I'd like to talk to others with similar TBIs. Thanks

C3 hematoma

roseathens,

Your condition sounds serious.

What are you symptoms?
How was it diagnosed?

I think I have some kind of recurring inflammation at my left occipital condyle that interrupts the blood flow to my brain. I have had a Doppler ultrasound to check vertebral blood flow but it was poorly done. One doctor I saw discounted my concern based on the belief that any attempt to treat it could be more dangerous that just living with it.

I aggravate the area from time to time. When this happens and it gets inflamed, I have to be very careful because it can cause me to stop breathing.

I have not found much information available searching online. Have you?
