Molly, I'm so sorry you are having so many problems. I know it's hard to get yourself going when you feel so bad.

Hang in there, and I'm hoping you have much better days to come.

Molly. There are Federal laws, guranteeing every student an education (PL 92-142 ???) in the least restrictive environment and as a special. Ed teacher who taught home-instruction to a variety of students for a variety of reasons in NJ, you might be one of them. Texas seems a tough place to get some rights recognized but maybe a parent, doctor, organization, or counselor can help you. If your physical problem interfers with your schooling, adjustments need to be made. The Internet is a good place to use to learn your rights. You have them. You have to know them.

The school board often tries to fight for economic reasons, school for everyone is cheaper than Home instruction, limited in Jersey to 10 hours a week. A lot can get done with one student and a teacher!

The ADA was recently modified. (REAFFIRMED).
I don't know if I can post a short pdf of the changes here, it's only a page or two.

If ANYONE would like to see it, (I think it is from a TEXAS org) btw,
PM me,
I will send it along.
I may be to new to add a link.

My heart goes out to you...:hug::hug:

You're a trooper. I'm proud of you for giving it your all. You sound tied of some things, though, and we're here to listen and help if we can.

Keep the faith you have within. You are a strong-willed person. :winky:
