Ortho in St Louis?

My husband saw our PCP today and he suggested we seek a second opinion from an orthopedic Dr for Jeff's continued knee pain. We know it's not the RSD because the blocks relieve the foot and ankle pain but do nothing for the knee. Does anyone have any suggestions for an ortho really familiar with RSD. I'm afraid to get one that will want to do something that may cause a flare or spreading. Our pain management Dr really doesn't have any suggestions.

I would seek a 2nd opinion from another pain management doctor if I were you.

If surgery is necessary get an ortho who works with an RSD knowledgeable anesthesiologist. The two need to work hand in hand.

Email Jim Broach at RSDSA he may be able to direct you to the right doctors.

Good luck.

Hello medictlc I'm in Saint Louis also and can help you with some docs if you need it. I will send you a private message as for a ortho they are not RSD doc you may want to look into a pain doc for that.
Thanks
