Funny cleaning tip

Well, this one beats me using the wrags tied to my feet as I skate along, but I would have to uses the cats, my gradson is too old to crawl, lol.

Just to lighten our day. My Katie found it and wanted to share.
Hope everyone can find one thing today to make you smile.

Di- I've been thinking seriously of doing rags on my feet to mop- clean. Have you really done it? :p Any pointers before I start skating on the linoleum? :Slip:

oh my gosh yes! I use micro fiber cloth, it is about size of a short dishtowel, which I guess would work too. I have a dishpan of water and Mr. Clean, not too much, micro fiber does not need it. Wring out and tie the front two corners over my toes. I bring the back two up over my ankle and tie. Then I go along the cabinet edges, with a wide sweep I go side ways and circles in sections. When that one is dirty I have a second one to use. Through them in the washer with hot water Borax no softener.

I also use a swifter and sit in my computer chair and slid around. I will never forget when I came up with this idea. My grandson decided to dump my entire bucket of water over the floor. I caught it at 2/3 empty....well he picked up the bucket as I had bath towels wiping across my floor and dumped the rest of it out

If that was not bad enough, when his mom and I got done cleaning it up, he spilt an entire 16 oz glass of soda off the counter onto the floor.

I also use a swifter dry and wet wipes, and sit in my computer chair and slid around. I will never forget when I came up with this idea. My grandson decided to dump my entire bucket of water over the floor. I caught it at 2/3 empty....well he picked up the bucket as I had bath towels wiping across my floor and dumped the rest of it out

I saw how wonderful the micro fiber worked and just thought I can do this to give a good mopping.
He is a michievious little man, practicle joker just like Aunt Katie.

his mom was giving him big hugs and he said Mommy your breaking me to pieces. LOL

New thing, I have paper towels with a bottle of water and vinegar in the bathroom. Every day I spray and wipe the sink and spray and swish the toilet. Before I could not get motivated as it was too much to do on a weekly or monthly basis.

There are wipes in there for the family too. They Lysol dispenser.
Another trick, I just work for 15 minutes in a long over due area. I will set the timer so I don't over due it. I have decluttered counter tops, folded laundry, got rid of piles of junk mail. Just a small start, but doing in tiny spurts has helped. One of my friends has done FlyLady.com and gave me some ideas and the link to read.

I had can't have anyone over syndrome....Depression is difficult time to get focus on areas that tend to collect or are neglected. So the 15 minutes at a time is doable.

They sell slippers with microfiber fringes for cleaning the floor

slipper genie I think they were called.

http://www.amazon.com/Evriholder-Sli.../dp/B000R9B3L4

I bought some some because I thought they were so funny. I found that they are better used one at a time than in pairs.
