Tattos anyone !?
Hey !!!
I really want to have a tatto :D I want it in my arm... and maybe, a second one in my wrist... Question: Do you have any ? Where ??? Was it very painful ???? My main concern now is pain ! hehe  Thanks for sharing !!! :) |
Don't have any. I've never wanted one. Sorry I can't help.

Blue, have you thought about getting a temp tattoo first?
They can last up to a month and it will give you a chance to see if you can live with the design and the placement. You might even decide to just do the temp ones and keep changing them. These are the airbrush ones, not the sticker type. |
Hum.... not sure if they exist in my country... :o But I will ask for temp ones first :)

I have tattooed eyebrows because I plucked them ALL out when I was 15 years old and so much smarter than any one else!!
 I had it done four years ago and the pain was horrible!! The tech said she would use "numbing lotion" so I figured it wouldn't hurt. What she failed to mention was she needed to scrape the surface first!! YIKES!! I don't see how anyone could deal with the pain of a larger area tattoo since just two eyebrows nearly did me in! |
I don't have any but my DH had one on each of his upper arms. I went with him when he got one of them....they were pretty large and took quite a bit of time. He actually fell asleep during the procedure! Seriously.....even the tattoo artist said he'd never seen anyone do that before! He had a high tolerance for pain, apparently.
I'm too chicken. I hate needles!! :o |
I have three, all can be covered by clothing. (wont' tell you where they are)
It doesn't hurt unless you do it someplace where there isn't much between the skin and the bone (like wrists and backbone or ankle) I can best describe it as if you have a really bad sunburn and someone slaps you on it over and over again. If I had it to do all ever again, I would not do it. I started disliking them soon after getting them, unless you want reminders of idiot times, lol. my smallest is about one inch square, the biggest is about 7 inches around. |
Hey Blue!! AYUP, I have a few, but I really love mine and feel they are very tasteful. I have a small hummingbird & flower on one foot and on the other, I have a beautiful memorial tat in honor of my Mother. I look at it and smile, as I think of her then. Also, last yr I got a one on my lower back w/my DH's, DD's, DS's & my first intial in it.
The feet felt like little bee stings, as I don't have much padding on the top of them, but took Ibuprofen before the procedure. The lower back hurt like heck and even the Bloody Mary that my friend had me drink didn't help, but I wouldn't change having it done. I should mention that I have a low pain tolerance, so not everyone feels as much pain. Noone sees the lower back one, but I love it b/c I know it's there and as for the feet; I can show them or keep them under cover. I also will recommend that you have it done at a very reputable place and make sure everything they use is sealed, clean and that the whole place is clean from the entry door to the actual artist's chair. Good luck if you decide to take the plunge and let us know what you do. |
Tattoos are forever. Are you thinking a wedding dress that hides everything? Does it matter to you? Worked in a psychiatric facility and one old lady got naked all the time. Tattoos on an old sagging body were not pretty!!!!! I think they moved.(Down with every thing else.)
