This is where a bunch of people will point out that it's THOUGHT that it is an autoimmune disease. It has an * by it.

Don't know, but Myasthenia Gravis (I was dx'd MG in 2004) is definately an autoimmune, but is treated ny neuro's as well. Because the effects hit the neuro muscular junctions??????

I'm guessing it's because it affects the central nervous system. As my neuro said, it's a wacky territory of the human body. :Crazy 2:

A MS neurologist should know a little about the immune system, a MS neurologist I thought about had done much research about AIDS, an autoimmune thing in the different direction. Maybe some immunologists don't know enough about CNS. I don't know
