Your Body Grieves, Too
The emotions that hit you and come from you when you grieve are, without a doubt, some of the most stressful feelings you've ever had.
Just as your heart aches and your soul begins to heal, our body is likely to ache and need to heal, too. You may: Be tremendously tired hungry all the time, never hungry sigh often and long (to get air into your lungs) forget things not be able to concentrate be confused jump at the slightest noise have vague aches and pains, sometimes the same ones your loved one had before death. you may want to sleep all the time you may not be able to sleep at all. you may not care how you look now, either. |
Thanks for this ((Alffe)) I do so many of these things and others too. Good to know I am still concidered "normal" ;)

Anger.
Sudden mood flips and flops. Grief can cause hormone changes. Skin changes. Break outs, rashes, dryness. Hair loss. Smells can trigger. Bring back memories in a flood. Been there..done all this. Still do. Over 10 years of it. I try to take it as a way of my big brother still teasing his little sister. I can just see him laughing that I'm 45 and getting a zit. |
Wow!!! Trying to get up again, when in this state is soooo hard....every little thing that can help becomes imperative for survival....:grouphug:

Dear Sweet ((Pono))
For me no other emotion is as complicated as grief. Not even love is this confusing! Keep fighting the fight and know I have your back. I love you!! Nikki:hug: |

more prayers for HEALing BLESSings Love:hug: |
You really hit the nail on the head. I now know what is going on with my body. It does what I call calendering. Whenever I have had trauma I will feel the trauma memory with my body before I do in my mind and heart. I'm getting pretty good at knowing the signs. The body is such a complex but amazing thing....
