cervicogenic vertigo?

Hi Everyone
Just joined in the hope of perhaps getting some feedback with the same problem as me.I had disc replacement in December and about eight weeks ago started getting a feeling of being unsteady, headaches and neck pain.
I am having a real problem getting help. Speacialist in the U.K don't seem so open minded about things as they are in the U.S.A. I have had tests for my inner ear and they are fine. Best wishes to all those who are suffering.

My father had positional vertigo. His ENT doctor showed him how to lay flat on his back and bring one knee toward his chest, using opposite hand to hold knee closer to chest and turn head/neck in the opposite direction to leg being used. Don't know if that would help in your situation but it was amazing for my father.

I hope you find the right thing for you to do for that.

Thank you for the warm welcome and the suggestions, I will certainly try them out. I'm sure you all agree pain comes in many shapes and forms and is not easy to live with and it is nice to meet others and give and get support. Again many thanks.

Cervicogenic headaches

HI
I'M SO GLAD TO SEE SOME ONE ELSE FROM ENGLAND,(I LIKE EVERY ONE ELSE JUST THE SAME THOW, NO AFFENCE INDENDED)
I TOO HAVE THESE HEADACHES AND I GET VERTIGO AT THE SAME TIME, SO
MAYBE THERE IS A CONECTION.
I WAS TAKEN TO A & E, I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN, BUT THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT IT WAS, THEN LATER I SAW TWO DIFFERANT DOCTORS WITH THE SAME RESULT.
WHEN THE PAIN HAD STOPED ( 7 WEEKS OF HELL LATER) I LOOKED IT UP ON INTERNET AND FOUND UNDER (SEVERE HEADACHE EXPERT )
CERVICOGENIC HEADACHE: THE MOST UNDER-DIAGNOSED OF ALL HEADACHES.
IT GIVES THE SYMTOMS OF THIS PROBLEM.( IT COULD HELP YOU IF YOU LOOK IT UP ALSO )
I PRINTED IT AND TOOK IT TO MY DOCTOR AND HE SAID IT WAS PROBABLY THAT, CAUSED FROM MY BACK PROBLEMS, BUT HAS DONE NOTHING ELSE,
HAVE YOU FOUND PROBLEMS GETTING DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT HERE IN THE UK? I HOPE YOU FIND AN END TO YOUR HEADACH, I DO FEEL FOR YOU. (post me if you want to talk ) ALL THE BEST
JANIE R
