Tomorrow, Friday, April 24, is the last day your Senators can support the Neurotoxin Exposure Treatment Parkinson’s Research (NETPR) program by signing onto the Dear Colleague. Please call your Senators today and ask them to support funding for this national, peer-reviewed Parkinson’s research program at the Department of Defense. Last year, the NETPR program received $25 million in funding with the support of 29 Senators. As you may know, funding for the NETPR program is determined, in large part, by the number of congressional signatures on the Dear Colleague, which is the Appropriations letter that requests funding for the NETPR program. Signing the Dear Colleague is the only way for your Senators to show concrete support for the program. With only a few days left to secure support for the program, we only have 15 Senators signed-on. We need your help to strengthen our Senate support!
