CRPS for 14 years, left foot and left hand...hello :)

I have had CRPS for 14 years in my left hand at first, and then in the left foot a year later from a separate injury. I have had lumbar blocks, stellate ganglion blocks and bier blocks over the years. My left foot hurts every day all day. My left hand acts up from weather or stress. I use the Duragesic patch and norco for breakthrough pain, which is more like every day. For the last year I have had problems with my lower back on the right side from shifting my weight off of my left foot all of these years - three weeks ago I had radio frequency thermocoagulation on l3, l4, l5 and s1 and all I have to say is ouch or more like OUCH. I wonder when the pain will subside and I will feel the affects of the procedure - actually I wonder whether it was a good idea to even agree to have the procedure - I guess I will know in the next couple of weeks. I have always wanted to find a site where I could meet people who were dealing with similar issues and to be supportive where I can.

Hi, and Welcome to NT

Yeah, you've been put through the wringer. You've had more than I. Did they tell you how long it would take to feel if the procedure was successful? I hope it was worth it and you get some much needed relief.

Keep us posted as you go along.
