Kind of new to the Vit. Section. What are the appropriate levels for B 12?

I am sorry if this is redundant and many people have asked, but what should your levels be? I am waiting on bloodwork that was done 11 days ago, my lab sucks. I am looking for the results as I want to know the b6 and b12 levels, calcium and magnesium.

What is the best range to be in for B12? Do y'all take the sublingual or in a multi? I am taking the Dr Weil multivitamin and he has a nice level of daily amonunts in his, not like a target brand or something. I do have to supplement with ferritin, as my levels are on the low side.

So primarily, I am interested in the B levels vitamin ranges. What should they be for optimum health? thank you:)

If you are taking supplements when the tests are done, the results won't mean much.

You will want a level of B12 above 500.

Thank you Mrs D. I
actually just started supplementation. It is frustrating with my lab, as they usually take 4 days at most, now my GP doesn't want to call me back about the lab. ( if they screwed up, if I have to do it over...) I just think that it is goofy, that they cant get their act together, especially if I want the results for another dr.
