polishing silver

About 25 years ago after we got married my DH & I bought a lovely set of Rodgers silverware (& a few other silver spoons & forks) for $50 at an estate sale. I use it on Thanksgiving & other hollidays. I was just polishing it & it has several teeny tiny crevices along the edges that I can't get absolutely clean. It doesn't really 'hurt' it but is there a way I can get those areas clean? (After we bought it some guy came running across the street offering to buy it. Also, their in one of those storage boxes.)

For about $50 or less you can get a sonic jewelry bath, you'll need the oval one but it's a snap to use. I think it's Hagerty that sells a foaming silver cleanser that might do the trick. They also sell a rouge storage bag that will help prevent tarnish.

Thankyou Cindy. I just googled it and added up the prices and the set is more than $500. (We paid $50) :Starvin:

This is it http://www.nancysilver.com/patterns/...membrance.html

When we were going to the car after we bought it some guy came running over & offered us $200 for it.
