Alot Going On

The 6th was the anniv of my dads death... ALOT of mixed emotions on that day for sure.

My poor Scott.... He has to make a hard decision... On the 19th he has graduation ceremony from Vo-tec AND his jazz choir is performing. he has a solo and a duet hes suppose to sing... they are at the same time different sides of Norman no way to do both.... I feel so bad for him having to choose which one to do. He wants/ needs to do both.

Rick and I are finally getting to go to the King Tut exhibit this weekend. Its suppose to be raining, but thats ok.... My FIL fell again this week and we had to do the emergency room thing to get his head sewed up and x-rayed. I just pray he doesn't fall again while we are gone.
Scott was chosen along with 2 other seniors to read their paper that they wrote. His was titled "A love that beat Death." (i think thats it) ANYWAY its about his experience in middle school and all the teasing he went through and the depression he felt and the suicidal thoughts that haunted him day and night. I've not read it yet but from what he told me its very intense.

I'm going today at 1:00 to hear him read it. Yes i'll bring plenty of tissues.
My daughter is taking The History test for College credit today... actually shes doing it right now.... Shes studied so hard for this thing. Its been very difficult for her. I hope she does well....
Guess i need to get off the computer and get myself to work. we're celebrating Mothers Day today. I'd take over 3/4 of those little ladies home with me if i could... I just love them to pieces....
   hope you guys have a good day today!!!!!!

well how did I miss this! I'd love to read his paper Goofy, if he'd let me.
You have the neatest kids!

You bet...
Have fun at the exhibition. I think I said this before here, but I saw it way back in the '80's sometime. Was superduper. I imagine it's just as good these days although I think they've had to remove some of the artifacts because they weren't travelling very well. It'll be a glimmer of colour, Goofy. Turquoise and Gold.

:grouphug: for you and your family. The children have done so well. Sorry that Scott has such a tricky decision to make. That's a shame they're both on at the same time.

Thinking of you.

(((((((((((((Goofy & Scott))))))))))))

hard for him to choose but woweeee that he is "in demand":p Yay Scott!! and congrats!:D

enjoy the exhibition.:) I was actually researching a bit on an item I recently listed, and in doing so learning more about the opening of King Tut's tomb in 1922, and how it sparked the Art Deco period "Egyptian Revival" style of design.
how wonderful that you get to see this exhibit!
