I talked to Doody today. She has been really really busy and not really up to posting, so I told her I would drop by and give you all an update.
Her mom is getting around better and wants to go home. Doody talked them out it because the care facility wants says she has to stay until her doctor releases her ( maybe next Tuesday? i forget the exact day) and Doody told her to stay or the inurance wouldn't pay. So they are staying, but the facility did give them day passes so that they could get out a bit. So it looks good.
Doody could use a big hug and a reduction in the stress in her life, but she says that she is okay. I wish I could have talked longer, but I had to make dinner for the Kid...
but she is all right and her mom is mending...so those are good things.
LOVE YOU, Doody!

Thanks Duck for bringing us up to date. Doody it's hard to take care of yourself when you have so many responsibilities tugging at you. Please know that we are all in your corner.

Thanks for asking((Barbo)) and thank you ((Ducky)) (it was good to hear your voice dear friend).

Mom is progressing and her mood is better. In fact, I'm hoping the doctor might release her this week. Though a home visit told that they need to get a couple of things for mom like one of those high toilet seats, a shower chair for the tub and something else. Tomorrow she sees the surgeon who repaired her arm.

and yes, my folks got so antsy (well, mom was starting to get scary with her repetitive 'i wanna go home') and they managed day passes, so they're happy about that.

Daughter and I went to see them yesterday. I took the little bird lady (Arlene) a rose for mother's day. And mom of course.

It was my daughter's 33rd birthday Saturday the 9th.
