Swine Flu Death and MG

I don't mean to scare anyone, and maybe I shouldn't even bring this up, but I just read that the little toddler in Texas who died of the swine flu also had myasthenia gravis. Apparently that was the "underlying condition" they were referring to.

Poor little guy, it's heartbreaking to think about. :(

How awful!

Poor little thing.....how old was the little one? I haven;t even watched the news recently.......too depressing for words......swine flu scares the heck out of me!

How are you doing? Are you OK?

interesting, I had not heard that but if he did it would not surprise me because as we MG'ers know our bodies can't handle much, never mind any kind of flu.

My heart goes out to the family of that toddler! Please everyone, be very careful in public and especially at doctor's offices. Don't pick up the magazines, stay away from anyone that is coughing or sneezing. I am even checking with my doc before going in to make sure there aren't any flu-type illnesses in there when I go in. Maybe a little drastic? But none of us needs that stuff!

We sure don't need that stuff. I use hand sanitizer the minute I leave the doctor's office or anywhere people are sick. I seem to catch viruses very easily.
