New Here, Have Concerns!
 

About 3 weeks ago my father had a Sub Arachnoid aneurysm. He has had coiling, then followed with a shunt. The shunt was removed about 5 days later. He had some improvement, but then, rapidly declined. He now sleeps all the time, doesn't talk when he does wake up, and they are planning to put in another shunt. I am very concerned that his recovery chances now will not be good. I have so many questions in my head, and I know many cannot be answered without waiting. But are his chances going to improve once they remove the fluid build up? And will he even be the same as he was before the aneurysm? Any thoughts or words are appreciated.
