My cat - eeekkk!!!!!

I love my animals - I have a house full of them (not to mention the kids ehehe) but my furry friends are my babies. Three cats and two dogs, and they keep me cheerful through most things. So do the kids come to that, they never let me take things too seriously.

Anyway, one of our cats is a little, well, large. I am a fiend when it comes to keeping my animals trim, I exercise my dogs daily (a big off lead run) and measure their food out to keep them at a healthy weight. But Sammy totally defeats me, she in an impossible guts, and no matter how much we restrict her food she remains her usual corpulent self. Actually I have always thought that she is probably one of those horrible cats who pop through the neighbours cat flaps and steal their cats food (she's a female so can't spray, so that's gotta be good, right?).

Well, earlier today one of my daughters was out on the sundeck when she saw Sammy marching along the top of the fence dragging what looked like a cooked roast. So it seems that she is not only raiding the neighbours cat food, she is now stealing their Sunday lunch. We have no idea where it came from, and honestly, even if I did I am not sure what I would do about it. I would die of embarassment having to go knock on the door and say 'excuse me, I think my cat just stole your Sunday roast' ..... I guess I would have to but honestly, in this case I think ignorance is bliss.

But I wonder what the poor person who got their roast out of the oven and let it sit for a few minutes makes of this situation.

Honestly, that cat ....... she always has been a madam, but she is climbing to new heights. Needless to say she will NOT be getting any dinner tonight ......

LOL that's too cute. And hey, I completely understand about the weight problem. My poly cat, Chewie, is absolutely huge. It seems no matter what I do, he keeps getting bigger.

A roast? ROFL! Too cute!
