In Remembrance of BobbyB

I am sad to say that I must now add BobbyB to his own thread. He passed away after a 17 year battle with ALS, during which he provided information and education to hundreds of patients and their families through tireless campaigning and advocacy. I hope others will take up his legacy, he will be sorely missed.

I am so sad to read this, but thankyou Paul for posting.

Although I don't post in the ALS forum I did read many of BobbyB's posts and found him to be a great inspiration to everyone.

I'm so sorry to hear this news but I know without a doubt that his work here on Earth was finished and he's been promoted to bigger and better things. His family and friends are in my prayers during this difficult time. :smileypray:

What an amazing man, BobbyB. I read many many of his posts about people with ALS.

His posts were always uplifting, never written in a spirit of complaint.

Thanks, Paul, for letting us know. Seventeen years with ALS -- incredible! Prayers going out for his family.

I just found out..

I haven't been on here in awhile, but knew Bobby from here, and another site. He's done so much for the ALS community. My mother had bulbar onset ALS and Bobby helped me a great bit in understanding the disease. I will miss him very much. So sorry to hear. :(
