HI From New Zealand

Hi Everyone,

My name is Roz and I am from New Zealand.
I found this site while looking for something totally different...

I have RSD in my left leg after rolling my ankle 5 1/2 years ago.

I am hoping to be able to read more about this condition from people who are experiencing rather then from Drs that have only read about it! (No offence to the Drs here).

Huggz & Luv
Roz

I got RSD in my right hand about 2 yrs ago after having hand surgery. It is for sure a painful condition. I got nerve blocks for about 3 months. It helped at first and then it didn't help much after that. I also recieved physical therapy---which really seemed to help. I got all my function back except for not being able to completely close my hand. It has remained pain free (except for morning stiffness) until now. I recieved botox injections for my cervical dystonia about 10 days ago and it has been acting up since then??? I am not sure why, but I am hoping it settles down. take good care---hutch

You must be a very strong person. I got RSD in my right hand, arm and right shoulder and it was very painful. At times I thought I couldn't stand another minute of the pain. I hope you are feeling better, and I hope that each day your pain lessens. take good care--- hutch
