STS-128 still a go to launch 7/30 - going to space station.

Fightin' the county - house appraisal went up again this year!!!!

Fightin' fire ants. And losing...

Going to Yellowstone/Grand Tetons in a few weeks.

Got a doctor's appt today. I'm hopin' my stupid blood clot went away.

Fire Ants!!!!!!
They are horrible this year. My yard looks like dirt mounds.

We tried everything, year after year. Finally my hubby fought fire with fire.
They are called fire ants, aren't they?
He takes a propane torch and holds it over the mound. He burns them up as they come out.(sounds crazy I know, but it has been working) He kills as many as he can by torch. For some reason, they don't build back. Every mound they had that he torched, is a dead mound now.

I hope your blood clot is gone too. Yikes!!! Let us know what you find out.

17 years in the property tax industry. I helped out a buddy in Pasadena (Harris County) over the net and got his value lowered. If I can help you out, I'd be happy to. It's worth it for the inside space news that you're so kind as to provide. If you're interested pm me. Good luck!

Oh - just saw this. They couldn't find a blood clot on the ultrasound. We're gonna do another one at the end of the month and if a clot is not there then, I can stop taking rat poison medicine! (Coumaden) Yeah!
